WELCOME TO HAFE-KASI WRITES

Always asking questions.

Malo e lelei!  My name is Moni. I am a  millennial, biracial/Hafe-kasi woman.

I write from my lens as a Tongan-Japanese woman and my experience of growing up and living in Tonga. This is how I see and question the world around me. I write based on my own experiences, memories, and observations.  I'm passionate about Intersectional feminism, mental health, the environment, and asking questions about my cultural identities.

Feel free to share, comment, and like what you see on this Hafekasi Writes blog!
